Authorization Only

An authorization only by a credit card transaction is a common form of payment processing where the merchant requests to verify if the customer has sufficient funds to cover the purchase amount. This process does not transfer money from the customer's account. Instead, an authorization code is sent back to confirm that the customer's account is valid and that the funds are available for purchase.
