Collection-proof

A collection-proof borrower is an individual who has a higher than average risk of defaulting on their loan, but cannot be taken to court or have their wages garnished if they fail to repay it. This is because this type of borrower has no assets that can be seized if they do not pay what they owe. They may be unemployed, elderly, disabled, or simply lack any property that could be used to cover the cost of a loan.
