A judgment is a legal determination made by a court of law. In a debt dispute, a judgment may be issued against the borrower if the creditor or lender proves that the debt is owed, and the borrower does not dispute it. If the debt is not paid, the judgment may be used to collect the money owed through wage garnishment or seizure of assets.
