PCI Compliance

PCI compliance is an information security standard that is set by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council. The standard outlines requirements for protecting cardholder data. The PCI compliance covers four key areas: (1) data security, (2) cardholder data, (3) network security, and (4) vulnerability assessment. The standard also requires organizations to maintain a written information security policy, as well as to periodically undergo audits by an independent third party.
