Skimmer

A credit card skimmer is a device that is used to steal credit card information from unsuspecting customers. It is typically installed on ATMs and gas pumps, as well as other commonly used payment terminals. The skimmer captures the data stored on the magnetic strip of the credit card when it is swiped through the terminal. This data includes the cardholder's name, account number, and security code.
