VantageScore is a credit scoring model created jointly by the three major national credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. It was developed as an alternative to the FICO score. Like the FICO score, VantageScore uses information from your credit report to generate a numeric score that lenders can use to assess your creditworthiness.
