Chip Card

A chip card is a type of credit or debit card that contains a small microchip. This chip is what makes it possible for the card to be read by an electronic reader. Chip cards are also sometimes called EMV cards, which stands for “Europay, Mastercard, and Visa.” These are the three companies that originally developed this type of card.
