Established in 1888, The Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) served the British Army until its disbandment in 1965. Responsible for diverse roles including transport, supply, and administration, the RASC played a crucial role in ensuring logistical support for the military. Handling land, coastal, and lake transport, as well as air despatch, the corps managed barracks, fire services, and the supply chain for essentials. In 1965, the RASC underwent reorganization, with its functions distributed among other corps like the Royal Corps of Transport (RCT) and Royal Army Ordnance Corps (RAOC), leading to the dissolution of the RASC.
