Vintage 1960s VW T1 garage sign in pressed wood. Original typo 'Volkswagon', 38x26 cm. Great for collectors & retro garage decor.

Dating and Verification
This sign is dated to the 1960s based on several verifiable features: the depicted VW T1 base model lacks later additions such as the extended rear roof rack or reinforced bumper. The VW logo is naturally faded, indicating long-term exposure. The backing material is MDF, a wood composite developed and commercialized in the early 1960s. The wear on the rear label and the typographical error “Volkswagon” instead of “Volkswagen” also point to original period manufacture and not a modern reproduction.
